About AttorneyOS

Built in South Africa, for the rules South African firms actually work under.

AttorneyOS is legal practice management software made and supported by Ophir Technologies (Pty) Ltd in Centurion. It exists because the software most South African firms could buy was either imported and blind to our rules, or local and sold only after a demo and a quote.

What we believe a firm is owed.

The price, in rand, on the website

One flat price for the whole firm, never per seat, with VAT stated. No quote after a sales conversation.

The product instead of a demo

The workspace opens the moment you sign up, with a demo matter, so the trial is the demo. No card until you choose to continue.

South African rules built in

Court days per Uniform Rule 1 on the SA holiday calendar, a prescription register, Legal Practice Act trust recordkeeping with section 86 interest, VAT-aware fee notes and a VAT201 pack.

Your data stays yours

Every firm runs in its own isolated workspace. Key records export as CSV at any time, and there is no contract beyond the month you have paid for.

Honest about compliance

Software supports disciplined recordkeeping; the firm remains responsible for compliance with the Act, the Rules and its auditor. We say so on every page where it matters.

A free directory for the profession

Any practitioner can list a public profile, publish original articles and receive enquiries without paying for visibility.

The company.

AttorneyOS is a product of Ophir Technologies (Pty) Ltd, a South African software company based in Centurion, Gauteng. The team builds and supports the product from South Africa; support requests are answered by people who work on the software.
