Conveyancing · South Africa

Conveyancing software that keeps every transfer moving.

A transfer is a checklist with money attached: FICA, rates clearance, guarantees, transfer duty, lodgement, registration, and a seller and a purchaser who both want to know what is happening. AttorneyOS tracks each transfer by stage, prices the costs from the current SARS duty tables and your fee bands, sends progress updates automatically and assembles the lodgement pack.

What AttorneyOS does for conveyancing.

Everything below is in the product today and opens on the first day of the trial. No demo, no implementation project.

Transfer costs from the real tables

Transfer duty is calculated from the SARS tables by effective date, transfer fees from your own fee bands, with Deeds Office levies, VAT and disbursements laid out per party. Give a purchaser a cost estimate in a minute, not an afternoon.

Pro-forma and final accounts

Pro-forma accounts for the seller and the purchaser are produced from the transfer, emailed for approval, and become the final account with the actual figures at registration. The trust position for the transfer is shown alongside.

Stage tracking with the clock running

Opened, preparing, signed, lodged, registered: each transfer shows its stage, what is outstanding, and the rates clearance and guarantee expiry dates counting down. Reminders go to the conveyancer before a certificate lapses.

Clients updated automatically

When a transfer moves stage, the seller and purchaser receive a plain-language progress update by email, and WhatsApp-ready text is one click away. Switch it on per firm, and the phone stops ringing with "any news?".

FICA and signatures in one place

Seller and purchaser FICA completion, signing dates and outstanding documents are on the transfer, and the matter alerts when something that blocks lodgement is missing.

The lodgement pack

A checklist of everything the Deeds Office and the bank expect for the transfer, assembled from what is recorded, so the pack goes in complete the first time.

How firms start.

1

Open a workspace

Sign up with an email address. The workspace opens immediately with the demo matter so you can see real screens, not slides.

2

Run one real file

Bring in one live matter and work it for a week: capture, bill, diarise, reconcile. Import clients and matters by CSV when you are ready.

3

Choose a plan

Pick a plan and add a card through Paystack only when you decide to continue. Nothing you built is lost, and everything exports if you leave.

Questions attorneys ask.

Are the transfer duty tables kept current?

Yes. Duty is worked out from the SARS tables by effective date, so a transfer priced before a budget change and one priced after it both use the right thresholds.

Can I use my own transfer fee tariff?

Yes. Fee bands are set per firm in Settings and the calculator uses them for the transfer fee; the default follows the commonly used recommended guideline.

Do sellers and purchasers need to log in for updates?

No. Progress updates go by email, with WhatsApp text ready to copy, whenever a transfer moves stage and the firm has switched updates on.

Does it handle bonds and cancellations?

Transfers are the core. Bond registrations and cancellations can be tracked as related matters with their own costs and deadlines.

Is conveyancing included in every plan?

The conveyancing workflow is available on Practice and above. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial that includes it.
